Hotel Dick is the third episode of season 2, and the twenty-third episode overall, of 3rd Rock from the Sun. It originally aired on September 29, 1996.

Room service

Tommy, Harry and Sally orders room service

Now that he is growing closer to Mary, Dick begins to feel that he should tell her the truth about where he and the others really come from.

Aghast by the way aliens are portrayed in a film the Solomons have seen, Harry feels they should tell the humans the truth about aliens. Harry considers a science fiction convention to be the perfect place and the Solomons go to the convention.

It's their first time in a hotel and after they find out about room service, Harry, Tommy and Sally rack up an enormous bill. Tommy hacks the hotel's computer and passes the charges onto an outraged George Takei.

Production Notes Edit

When Mary and Dick enter the science-fiction convention, you can see two people dressed as Coneheads leaving. Jane Curtin played a Conehead in Saturday Night Live and in Coneheads.

Dick tells Mary he is an alien for the first time, but she thinks he was getting into character.
